Jean-Charles Thillays Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 Kalimera, I'm looking on information on Lord of the Glens yacht from Magna Carta Steamship, prio his conversion into yacht/cruise style. I know that the hull was built in 1985 in Greece, at Psarros shipyard, and that she was built under the name Victoria. Do you know who ordered her ? Wiche ship owner order this ship ? It was a day ferry originaly ? Thank you ! Jc
Nick the Greek Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 Bon apres-midi cher JC, Indeed built as the Victoria, renamed Victoria II in 1999 and then assumed her current name in the year 2000. As far as I can see she was ordered by Magna Carta Steamship and her technical management has changed from Anglo-Eastern to V Ships UK. At least this is what my sources show. To me it does not appear she has ever served as a day ferry, at least I don't remember that.
