Cruise Europa
On 2/18/2021 at 2:22 PM, Nick the Greek said: Μια που τα θυμήθηκες φίλε Νομικέ, να δούμε μια φλασιά με το που βρίσκονται και τι κάνουν: Το Marin (IMO 8912376) κάνει δρομολόγια στην Καραιβική, το βλέπω στο Fort De France(Μαρτινίκα) και στο Philipsburg(St Maarten).

(σε googlομετάφραση) Quote Chinese shipyard Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry has recently laid the keel for a new Ro-Ro container ship, designed specifically for Caribbean routes, Alphaliner reports . Marseille-based Marfret, a boutique shipping company with a fleet of nine containerships, multi-purpose and Ro-Ro, commissioned the vessel in 2021 to operate on its 'Ferrymar' service. This operation offers weekly links between the ports of Marigot (St. Martin), Gustavia (St. Barthelemy), Point-a-Pitre (Guadeloupe) and Fort-de-France (Martinique). The new compact vessel is a fairly small cargo Ro-Ro, with a length of 120.00 m and a beam of 22.00 m. The ship has 6,600 dwt and a draft of 6.00 m. The ship, designed by SDARI, has a capacity of 1,150 linear meters and can transport 228 TEUs on deck, 50 of them refrigerated. Designed to offer good maneuverability and a high degree of redundancy, the new ship will have two engines, two propellers and two rudders. Its two MAN 6L32/44CR main engines develop a total of 3,600 kW and propel the vessels at a service speed of 14.5 knots. Marfret's new Ro-Ro container ship will enter service later this year or early 2024. It is expected to replace the 143 TEU Ro-Ro container ship “MARIN”, built in Norway in 1991.
