Μετά τη φωτιά στο Lisca Gloria, ξέσπασε φωτιά σε δεύτερο πλοίο της DFDS στο γκαράζ, αυτή τη φορά είναι Pearl of Scandinavia στις 17 Νοεμβρίου

40,039-gt Danish passenger ferry Pearl of Scandinavia (IMO 8701674), with 61 people on board, suffered a fire in Swedish waters on Nov 16. The fire was traced to the vehicle deck of the vessel; a truck trailer and a car were affected but not the ship's engine room. The fire was extinguished by the vessel's own crew and the vessel continued to its scheduled destination. No injuries were reported.

Around 0622 Nov 17 fire broke out on a cargo deck of ferry Pearl of Scandinavia, sailing from Oslo to Copenhagen, vessel was N of Hoganas. Fire started in one of 26 cars, then spreaded to two other cars, resulting in heavy smoke. All 490 passengers were evacuated to aft deck. Crew extinguished fire by own means, no injures. Danish and Sweden rescue and Coast guard vessels and helicopters were on the scene in no time, but thankfully, there was no need of mass evacuation. Ferry resumed voyage and arrived to Copenhagen same day. Pearl of Scandinavia IMO 8701674, dwt 2800, built 1989, flag Denmark.
