Angelos
A very balanced review of the changing face of Greek ferries, by Russell Plummer, in Ships Monthly latest issue. The author gives an interesting report, despite minor discrepancies, of how the domestic service from Piraeus has altered in the last 10 years. However the title is a bit misleading, since the article ignores domestic service from the ports of Patra, Igoumenitsa and Kylini to the Ionian Islands and the lifeline from the port of Lavrio to the Northern Aegean. More appropriate should be ferries of the Aegean. We are all pleased to find out that SM, at last, organises a three day Greek ferry cruise on board Vitsentzos Kornaros in mid September. The event will be part of the Ships Monthly Greek tour. Guys you are welcome to join!
