proud_ionian Posted August 16, 2005 Share Posted August 16, 2005 FOUR cruiseships carrying Israeli tourists cancelled planned calls to Turkey last week following the appearance of a terrorist suspect at Turkish court on Thursday. According to local reports the suspect openly admitted planning to attack Israeli cruise ships and threatened that he had “friends” who were also intent of carrying out similar attacks. His defence lawyer reportedly said that his client was caught with 750 kilograms of explosives and added: "He was planning to hit Israeli ships in international waters with these explosives." mgn Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
