Here is a story in Finnish. Probably there is a press release in English somewhere also. She will head to the caribbean at the end of November and her maiden voyage will be in January. This current test will last for 10 days.

For some reason Blue Star Chios seems to be sending BS Delos's AIS signal from time to time. Who's got the transponder with him?

What is the oldest conventional ferry in Greece still in active duty? Aeolis is from 1968. Any others ships from the 60's? Which active ship has had the longest career in Greek waters? Which active ship has worked the longest time with the same name in Greek waters?

Really, no question here. Just an observation that Sifnos Jet seems to be always taking an unconventional route around Paros towards Naxos. It sails between Paros and the small islets north of Paros. Maybe saves a couple of minutes?

One question: When was the new port Athinios of Santorini completed? Couldn't find that info on the net in English.

Hello all. My question is kind of specific considering the port of Naxos. Might any of you know when was the berth extension on the Naxos Marina completed?

As seen in this video from the year 1988 at 00:26 the quay extension is not there yet.

Also on the same video at 7:12 the promenade seems to be a lot more narrow than at the present time.

Then on this video from 1991 at 1:40 the promenade seems to already be considerably wider. Was the berth extension done at this time also? I don't see shots from the marina side of the port on this video.

Btw. you may be familiar with these videos already, but this user has some nice content from Naxos in the 70's, 80's and 90's with some classic ferries also appearing.
