Voyages of Discovery & Swan Hellenic    

 

We were sorry to hear the sad news that the All Leisure brands Voyages of Discovery and Swan Hellenic have ceased trading. We know that some Fred. Olsen customers also travelled with these lines and we empathise with their concerns relating to their planned holiday and the return of their money from the cancelled cruise.

If you should have a future booking with either Voyages of Discovery or Swan Hellenic we have a dedicated team who will be able to provide you with help and assistance, including suggesting suitable replacement cruises. The team are here to provide guidance to both you and your travel agent.

We would like to reassure all our guests that while the news regarding All Leisure is disappointing, this is a rare event in the travel industry. Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is profitable and operates from a strong financial position. Η Fred Olsen Cruise Lines ανακοίνωσε το πρόγραμμα της για το 2019/20, για τα τέσσερα πλοία της Balmoral, Braemar, Boudicca και Black Watch, όπου θα επισκεφτούν 219 προορισμούς σε 75 χώρες σε όλο τον κόσμο με νέους προορισμούς όπως ο Άγιος Νικόλαος, Σύρος, Πάτρα, Alotau και Wewak στη Papua New Guinea, Ambon, Lembar, Lombok, Sabang, Weh Island, Sumatra & Maluku στην Ινδονησία, Broome, Penneshaw και Kangaroo Island στην Αυστραλία, Galway στην Ιρλανδία, La Romana στη Δομινικανή Δημοκρατία, Svolvær και Lofoten στη Νορβηγία.

Η Fred Olsen Cruise Lines συμπλήρωσε 170 χρόνια λειτουργίας και τα τέσσερα πλοία της (Balmoral, Braemar,Boudicca & Black Watch) συναντήθηκαν στο λιμάνι του Cadiz τη Δευτέρα 10 Σεπτεμβρίου. Η επόμενη τους συνάντηση θα γίνει στις 4 Απριλίου του 2020 στη Madeira.

Και τα 4 πλοία της εταιρείας, δηλαδή τα Black Watch, Boudicca, Balmoral και Braemar έχουν παρεούλα παροπλιστεί στο Firth of Forth, βασικά στην είσοδο του κόλπου του Εδιμβούργου, στη Σκωτία.

Η Fred Olsen Cruise Lines ειναι η αγοραστρια των Amsterdam και Rotterdam από την Holland America Line.

Με sellers finance γίνεται το deal και τιμή στα 37 εκατομμύρια.

Λογικά οι δυο νέες προσθήκες θα οδηγήσουν σε απόσυρση δυο παλαιοτέρων πλοίων της Fred Olsen Cruises Line, δηλαδή του Boudicca και του Black Watch.

Η σημερινή Tradewinds μας ενημερώνει πως η εταιρεία χάνει περίπου 4.2 εκατομμύρια το μήνα μόνο από το κόστος των δεμένων πλοίων αλλά την ίδια στιγμή βλέπουν θετική τη ζήτηση για το δεύτερο μισό του 2021.
